Travel: The Ultimate Education

Video is a wonderful way to say 'Thank You'. When it comes to fund raising it's also a type of 'follow-up' report.

Someone once said that traveling and experiencing other cultures is the only education that we need.

I share the opinion that most of our problems related to race, religion, & politics would be solved by everyone having to travel the world in their Junior year of High School.

If a lottery could be set up, and those drawn from it, had no other requirement except that they were enrolled in the school... then during their Senior, most of their studies would be about the country they lived in during the previous year. They would be required to report on their experience... write about it, etc.

The plan would be that they stayed in the home of their counter part..... a student from that country would be placed in their home here... so it would be a perfect exchange. No adjustments would be made for either student. They would simply step into the place of their peer.

Now, think of it... how easy do you think it would be, to take up a weapon and serve in a war pitched against the country you lived in for one year?
