How to design a successful website for businesses

For businesses, having a website is standard in 2010. Much like how business owners in years prior would invest into phone book advertising, websites have rapidly become a [un]just indicator of a trustworthy and established business. Here's the catch though: practically anyone can put up a website for next to nothing, and the major search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo! decide where your website will be placed based on a very complex algorithm that considers things like how long your…See More

Howdy!

I am a search specialist with over a decade in web design. I love to code and express artistic design through the use of programming. I am a member at NW Internet Marketing, LLC., an organic search engine optimization and webdesign firm. We just got into mobile marketing, which has turned out to be a lot of fun!

I thoroughly enjoy being a business owner (minus the whole "feast or famine thing") for the satisfaction of knowing that my "little" business can out maneuver and provide the personal attention that is simply not possible by large corporations.

As a business major with a focus on Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship, I have done everything possible to position our company as an equitable, member-owned, member-ran operation that gives back to the local community and environment. Too often do we forget the waste we leave behind, which is why we have adopted a company wide paperless policy.
